Freelance Client: When Tiffany, the owner of Clyde’s (cafe on wheels!), approached me about designing her brand, I couldn’t wait to dive in. I had so much fun designing a playful, cohesive logo and brand identity inspired by mid-century design, European coffee shops, and old Florida charm.

Project Scope:
- Designed and developed a cohesive brand identity that blended multiple aesthetic influences using Adobe Creative Suite.
- Developed a scalable vector logo suite for multiple applications.
- Created a comprehensive brand guide documenting visual standards, typography, color palette, and usage guidelines.
- Collaborated with the business owner to ensure the brand aligned with existing assets and vision.
✷ Process ✷
Stage one: I developed initial mood boards based on client’s brand vision, followed by some initial design mockups. Scandinavian design sensibilities and retro typography were major influences.

Stage Two: We uncovered further inspiration in the mid-century charm of old Florida. The playful motifs and colors from this era provided an element of fun we felt had been missing from early designs.

Stage Three: Another mood board later, it was time to refine the logo once more. In this final stage, I reworked shapes to deliver that beloved space-age flair and introduced a vibrant palette in line with that lively Old Florida spirit!

Stage Four: Organizing brand assets and colors into a comprehensive style guide for clients to refer back to as needed. And finally, getting the Clyde’s logo printed on their beautiful forest green coffee truck!
